Zapier Integration to WPForms
In Zapier, the integartion is referred to as Zap for branding purposes and we’ll be referring the same in this article. For your forms to send information to another service, you need to create a Zap in Zapier.
Step 1: Create an account on Zapier for free. If you have one already, just login to that account.
Step 2: Click on the (+) button on the top left menu to add new Zap.
Step 3: In the window that displays, enter any name for the Zap you’re creating and under Choose App & Event, select WPForms by searching.
On selecting WPForms, you can see a trigger option displayed below. As WPForms has only one trigger option, you don’t need to do anything, just click Continue and complete the process.
Step 4: In this step, you need to connect your account to WPForms by clicking the Sign in to WPForms button under Choose Account.
Step 5: Enter your API Key (in WPForms Integration settings) and website address in the overlay window that’s visible on the screen and click Continue.
In case you forgot to copy the API Key or closed the previous tab, just visit WPForms once again and take your API Key from there.
Step 6: In the Customize Form Entry, select the Form you would like to use and click Continue.
On proceeding Zapier will show you the Find Data step. Here, you can pull the sample data and Test the connection before proceeding. Doing this is recommended and will ensure the integration is fully connected.
After doing the process, you can have a Done Editing button or else you’ll be redirected according to the settings you choose in Step 6.
Step 7: Zapier will bring you to the next step where you need to select Choose App & Event which you would like to send your form entry details and data to be sent to. You can select from more than 2000 apps to send data to.
After selecting an app, the next steps for that specific app will be guided clearly by Zapier and you can complete the process without any hassle. We can’t include the specific tutorials for each app in this article as Zapier supports more than 2000 apps and that’s a long list to write on.
